Ok, so, in retrospect, I don’t really have that many photos from LA. On Friday 29 June, Ovalle had work so I pilfered a yoga mat from the gym within his residence and did my morning routine. I popped out shortly thereafter and went to a restaurant called ‘Eggslut’ for some eats. Eggslut was located in Grand Central Market, and there was a bevy of eateries to choose from. Ovalle mentioned it so I checked it out. I ordered this dish with an egg inside of a small mason jar set atop mashed potatoes. It was darn good, though I was hoping for two eggs. I should have asked and/or read the descriptions.

After finishing up I wanted to take care of a couple of travel items before the evening. I found a quaint café in downtown LA and posted up for a couple of hours.

After wrapping up, I came back home and got ready. Once Ovalle came home, he ordered a bunch of necessities for the following day’s festivities. After, we went to  visit a friend of mine working at a hotel bar downtown. We had some small bites (including wings that were fuego) and went next door after his shift for a drink. We caught up, and as it was getting late (also I’m an old man), we went back to get ready for the following morning.
