MEL, AUS – Day 3 – 16.07.18 –

Slept alright this evening, not great but not bad. I think it was due to the fact that Hai and I went to bed at 3AM, something my body was not used to at all.

Because I went to bed so late, I knew that I wasn’t going to Y&M in the morning. I woke up, probably around 9AM, and started getting my things packed and organized as check out was at 10AM.

I moved around the room, tucking things away. Because I hadn’t unpacked much it was fairly easy to get ready. Hai had just gotten up, I asked him if he’d be up for breakfast, and he said yes. Sweet. I wrapped up, and made my way downstairs to check out, and Hai and I went to breakfast.

I had wanted to take us back to The Hardware Societe, but they had a line, on a Monday. My sentiments of it being good were reinscribed. We ended up going to this place called White Mojo, which was across the street. On Saturday there was a super long line as well, and seeing as how there was zero line now, we made our way in.

Really nice space, open with bright colors. I got some tea, and Hai got a latte. He opted for a chilli-cheese omelette, and I ordered a more ‘traditional’ eggs with bacon and sausage, with a little bit of hasbrown. Full disclosure when his dish came out I was like, oh man I should have gotten that! Also we got some pancakes to split. Because I was flying out I preferred to eat a little bit on the heavier side just in case there was nada at the airport.

Hai and I then said farewell and I made my way to Mr. Turk, a café inside the public library. Got some tea and got started on the previous posts that you saw about the GOR. Got done, walked back to the hostel, gathered my belongings and did a little re-arranging, and made my way to the airport.

Got to the airport and made my way through security pretty easily. It was just a giant heap of people all corralled into these various lines, with some people allowed to skip while others could not. In case your reading this Melbourne International, can y’all do a little something to make the corralling a little more aesthetically pleasing? Thank you.

My gate was pretty close, and as it was getting close to 3PM, I thought I should eat again just in case the food situation on the plane is not the best. Got a burger and a side salad (should have just eaten the salad, but oh well), continued blogging (I feel so gross typing that), and then got the gate with just enough time to finish the post. I’ll end this post here so I can make the next post be the first day in PPS, Sabang Beach. Also, my wifi isn’t the best so I think I’ll need to move to a different part of the resort to hopefully be able to upload the pictures that belong in this post. more to come!
