Woke up feeling (surprisingly) great! There were a couple of games on, and I watched Spain fall to Russia. They lacked any creativity up front and Russia knew exactly how to play them.
We popped out to a local restaurant with carts upon carts of food parading around the room. It was quite the sight. After eating we came back and I began packing and doing laundry.
Once completed we popped out to this spot that Ovalle was talking about all weekend, Preux & Proper. Ovalle described it as modern soul food, and he was spot on. Nice little spot located inbetween two roads with nice views – we sat outside.
I got a lavender old fashioned, and it was très delicious. Really subtle hints of alcohol with a nicely blended lavender touch.

We went nuts. We got the roasted Japanese eggplant, a different mozzarella dish that I can’t quite recall (nor find on their menu in this moment), Mississippi fried catfish, squash blossom chile relleno, and the 36 hour prime boneless beef rib.

I couldn’t imagine a better send off. Chillin with fam on a beautiful night with incredible food and wonderful scenery. After eating and feeling 2x larger than when I walked in, I made my way to the airport courtesy of Ovalle getting me an Uber. I got to the airport, whisked through security, and found myself at the gate ready to make my way to New Zealand.

Just wonderful!!! The pics with the detailed dialogue made it seem like I was there. Have fun and keep it coming! You are missed! Wolfie
