GOI, IND – Day 2 – 04.08.18 –

Woke up still in a little bit of a funk. Got moving at around 7:45.

Yoga and meditation had me feeling great. I think I also needed to realize exactly why I wasn’t feeling like me. And once I did that, I was good.

Made my way to the breakfast buffet at 10:00AM as it closes at 10:30AM. Had an omlette (x2) and multiple pieces of French toast.

Came back to the room, cleaned my yoga mat and set it to dry, and made my way to the beach.

I had to get a towel first, so I met some nice people helping me out in order to procure so said towel.

Got the towel and made it to the beach at around 12:15PM. Now, it is monsoon season, but the sun was out! It was beautiful. Got some sun, and noticed the cultural differences between how we beach in the states versus here.

Most people here walk around, fully clothed, and wade in the water at times. I got so many looks as I was the only person laying out.

The sun was beginning to get clouded over so I figured it was a good time to make my way back.

Now, the last cut I had was before I left, sometime in June. Needless to say your boy needed a shape up. I found a barber and walked in. Language barrier in full effect. However, fortunately there was a picture of Leo Messi on the wall from 2 seasons ago. I pointed to the fade he had and said “this” and motioned that the rest of my face/hair was not to be touched.

We were set.

My man handled it with ease.

Gave him a nice tip and made my way back to the hotel.

Got in, cleaned up a bit, and made my way into the pool. It was warm but felt nice. Got out, came back to the room, and got into the afternoon Y&M.

My elbow is feeling much better if not 100%. Got that wrapped up, shaved up because my beard was getting a little wild, and made my way to the buffet dinner.

Mutter paneer, dal, aloo gobi, and butter naan. So delicious. Also ice cream (eventual mistake). But it was so good!

Came back to the room, wanted to blog, couldn’t. Watched some TV and promptly went to sleep at around 10:30PM.

Though beginning a little off, the day was fantastic and helped me “Stella”, that is, get my groove back.
